Yes. All Ruia Adventure instructors speak English and Romanian. Some also speak German, French, or Italian.
Is Poiana Brașov good for beginners?
Absolutely. Two slopes (Bradul and Stadion) are specifically designed for beginners, with gentle gradients and easy lift access. Combined with a certified instructor, most beginners can ski independently after 4-6 lessons.
When is the best time to ski in Romania?
The ski season runs from mid-December to late March. January and February offer the best snow conditions. For e-bike tours, May through October is ideal.
How much does a day of skiing cost in total?
Budget approximately €100-150 per person for a full day including: lift pass (€44), equipment rental (€17-22), and an optional 2-hour lesson (€80). Kids cost about 40-50% less. Lunch on the slopes is €10-20.
Can I book online?
Yes. Contact us via the booking form, WhatsApp, or call +40 756 305 023. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially for weekends and peak season.
Is Romania an affordable ski destination?
Very much so. Romania offers some of the lowest skiing costs in Europe. A full day of skiing in Poiana Brașov costs roughly what a single lift ticket costs in the Alps. Equipment rental at €17-22/day is a fraction of Western European prices.
